F for Frodo and Falcor

After a long wait, finally featuring F!

Someone suggested I drew Fezzik, and the thought of Frodo trying to fight the Giant had a certain charm, but eventually the fluffy luck dragon won. Falcor is drawn part from memory and part from reference, after I tried drawing “a dragon that looks like a dog” and came up with some sort of Simba-Stitch hybrid, and decided to maybe check how he actually looks.

As usual, drawn on an iPad with the Procreate app and a Wacom stylus, with a subtle texture layer in Photoshop.

    OH MY GOD!

    I’m German. I grew up reading “Neverending Story” in it’s original German. It just NOW dawned on me that OF COURSE they had to rename the luck dragon “Fuchur” for the English adaptation!
